You've only got one body

For some reason people don't seem to take good care of their bodies anymore. Perhaps in the current age of convenience everyone is more concerned with making money and buying things they can be proud of instead of investing time and energy into the way that they look.

Maybe that is why I keep seeing so many fat people driving around big fancy SUV's with big fat tires on them. They want you to see their car tires, not the spare tire around their midsection.

It seems that for some reason people, especially Americans, don't look at the long-term affects of eating poorly. If you take care of yourself when you are young your chances of looking and staying young are much better when you are older.

Not only do people make poor food choices on a daily basis, but they insist on other addictions like cigarettes or alcohol. Even worse some people choose drugs.

Your body is a temple and when you have lost everything else in this world it is the only thing that you will have to hold on to - so TAKE CARE OF IT!!

Start with something small like sugary drinks - give them up at least one day a week and then stretch that out to two days a week and eventually you will find that you don't want them anymore at all.

Each day do something just for your body whether it is eating a piece of fruit, taking a brisk walk, or at taking a multi-vitamin. In the end you will be glad you did and soon you might be Freakin' Hot too.

Canteloupe Glutes

Once a girlfriend of mine said, "Johan, your glutes look like someone cut a juicy canteloupe in half and stuck them to the back of your body."

I love a woman that knows how to compliment.

Glutes are an essential part of the male physique, but an even more important part of the female physique.

For guys a good glute comes from doing plenty of legs presses, lunges, and having little excess body fat. Some men suffer from a disease called "noassitol" (pronounced: no ass at all) and therefore they need to do extra glute workouts just to keep there pants above the crack line.

Women on the other hand rarely seem to have the problem of having too little butt. God knew what he was doing when he created Eve and he made women curvy and voluptuous on purpose. So ladies, if you have a healthy butt, take care of that butt with a "Buns of Steel" video or some aerobics. Excess buttage is attractive to some men, but others find it to be a turn off. What is important is that you are happy with your butt and your overall physical appearance.

Don't just watch your weight, watch your body fat percentage. Go to a gym and have your body fat taken and if it is above 20% then you really need to start working on it. Men, you should try to get yours below 10%, especially if you ever want to see your abs.

The Importance of Balance

Today is back and biceps dayand so I thought I would post something about muscles.

Did you realize that the body is divided into different types of muscle groups?

The back muscles and the biceps are considered "Pulling Muscles" while the triceps and chest are considered "pushing muscles". That is why it makes sense to train these two muscle groups together. Like Newton's Third Law of Motion states, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." So when you work out your muscles you need to be sure to work them out equally and realize the importance of symmetry and balance. Overwork one muscle and it will cause strain on the opposite muscle.

Look at my physique... it is near perfection. Do you think I achieved it overnight? Nope. It has taken me years to obtain this level of fitness.

So go out now, go for a walk, drink lots and lots of ice water, and start making yourself look better - NOW!

Let Freedom Freakin' Ring!

Happy July 4th to all of you American's that have been reading my blog. Today I will not talk about how fat you are, but rather, how not fat that I am.

I started working out when I was little hoping to one day grow up to be as big as Arnold. Well, I am no Arnold, but I have made some money on the side doing some modeling. I have been to America a few times and I freakin' love it.

Good Fat - Get it through your fat head

Why is it that I still hear people talk about going on low-fat diets? Because they think they actually work. I always see these sumo people walking around eating carrots and pretzels and they actually think they are eating healthy. Both foods are so stinking high in carbs that you would have to do two hours of cardio to burn off a few ounces of each.

So pick up the protein and good fats and PUT DOWN THE FREAKIN' CARBS!!!

Fireworks are Hot - Like Me.

I know this is a big weekend in America for Independence. When I think of Fireworks I think of the feeling I get in my muscles after an extremely good workout.

I am a little disappointed in the Americans posting in my comments section. You guys are sometimes not nice. I think the fact that you consume too many carbs makes you mean and irritable, or maybe it is because your belt is too tight, or your pants are riding up in the crotch area because your butt is too big.

Take my advice, put down the double cheeseburger from McDonalds. Wipe the grease off your fingers. Put on some running shorts and go for a walk. Help make America beautiful by making yourself more beautiful.
